Recent updates to Snak
Snak » Devlog
Hello,
Snak is the first project that I have put a significant amount of time and effort into. As much as I would like to leave it alone and forget about it forever, I also don't want an unfinished game available to the public with my name on it. For this reason, Snak has been updated a number of times within the last few days. I keep itch.io, as well as the Lexaloffle BBS post, up to date with the latest version of Snak at all times.
I'd like to share the changelog for the last few updates of Snak since I never posted them here:
- V1.0: Initial release of Snak, including 4 stages and Endless mode.
- V1.1: Snak now automatically saves your progress at the end of each stage, ready to load from it the next time you play. Some textures were also updated.
- V1.2: Attempted to fix a softlock when playing on the Lexaloffle BBS (which failed...), and added a version indicator to the title screen.
- V1.3: Simplified the title screen, and added keyboard glyphs for those who are unaware of PICO-8's keyboard layout. Fixed softlock on Lexaloffle BBS (finally!), and the title screen now shows which stage the save file was saved at.
- V1.4: Corrected body length after stage transition.
That's all I wanted to say in this post. I'll post any updates from now on.
